Mike Marshall has been in the grain and food industry for 15 years. He started Marshall Gluten-Free Milling in 2015 with the unique premise of creating a gluten-free organic farm supply chain with the intent of milling and marketing all crops grown in a sustainable crop rotation.
Marshall Milling entered into a joint venture agreement with Avena Foods to validate Marshall’s organic gluten-free oat business model. 2016 was a year of significant growth for both Avena Foods and Marshall Gluten-Free Milling that required additional resources to meet the growing demands of the organic gluten-free oat market. Mike grew up in Tisdale, SK and resides with his wife Julianne and five children in Saskatoon.
