Matthew Bernard AAg
Matthew is the Provincial Specialist, Oilseed Crops with the Saskatchewan Ministry of Agriculture. Matthew is a farm boy from Trossachs, Saskatchewan.
He received his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and Master of Science from the University of Saskatchewan in plant biotechnology, focusing on molecular events underlying the biosynthesis of omega fatty acids (the “healthy oils”) in oat seed.
His previous industry roles involved research and development in crop protection, as well as breeding. He began his career with the Saskatchewan Ministry of Agriculture in October 2016.
