Canola agronomist explored blackleg resistance through variety rotation and new recommendations for optimizing plant populations to improve the bottom line.
Clinton Jurke is the Agronomy Director for the Canola Council of Canada. He works in Lloydminster, where he also helps out on his family farm. Previously, Clint has worked for Advanta Seeds in Winnipeg and Monsanto in Edmonton in various roles, such as canola breeding, product development, and marketing.
He has a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Saskatchewan and a Master of Science from the University of Manitoba.
