Dr. Stuart Smyth


Dr. Stuart Smyth is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Bioresource Policy, Business and Economics at the University of Saskatchewan (U of S), where he holds the Industry Research Chair in Agri-Food Innovation.

His research focuses on sustainability, agriculture, innovation, and food. Dr. Smyth publishes a weekly blog on these topics at www.SAIFood.ca.

In 2014 Dr. Smyth co-edited Handbook on Agriculture, Biotechnology and Development with Peter Phillips (U of S) and David Castle (University of Victoria). He also co-edited Socio-Economic Considerations in Biotechnology Regulation with Jose Falck-Zepeda (International Food Policy Research Institute), and Karinne Ludlow (Monash University, Australia).
